FitLine is a volunteer-led telephone-based motivation line which encourages callers to get more active. FitLine helps people who want to feel a bit healthier but just don’t have the time or information on where and how to take that first step. Find out more here.

Older People’s Councils
Age Friendly Ireland’s Older People’s Councils provide a means by which older adults can take a more active role in their communities and have their voices heard. Enabling the direct and active involvement of older people in local decision making has been an important value or principle which has underpinned the work of many of the city and county programmes to date. National Age Friendly Ireland Programme
The National Age Friendly Ireland Programme supports cities, counties and towns across Ireland to prepare for the rapid ageing of our population by paying increased attention to the environmental, economic and social factors that influence the health and well-being of older adults. Age-friendly programmes work to provide walkable streets, housing and transportation options, access to key services and opportunities for older people to participate in community activities. By doing so, these communities are better equipped to become great places, and where appropriate lifelong homes, for people of all ages. Find out more here.

International Federation on Ageing
The International Federation on Ageing fondly known as “IFA” is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) whose members are government, NGOs, academia, industry, and individuals in nearly 80 countries. Join the Age & Opportunity ‘Movement Minutes’ Daily Exercise event with Paul.
Siel Bleu Ireland is a social enterprise delivering life-enhancing exercise programmes to older adults and patient groups. A panel of expert physical trainers adapt group programmes based on the needs and abilities of each participant.
Programmes are available in nursing homes, in the community, for patient groups and our one to one programmes are available for private homes and nursing homes.
